Orgless win UCC: Europe

Orgless have won the Uprise Champions Cup: Europe tournament after defeating FlipSid3 2-0 in the grand final (16-9 on de_cbble with a one map advantage).

The $15,000 Uprise Champions Cup: Europe was a tournament originally meant to have its offline finals play out in Moscow, Russia however scheduling conflicts with other events ultimately turned the playoffs into an online double elimination bracket.

The playoffs themselves saw the likes of Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten's Ancient and YP eliminated early while a Nostalgie lineup that featured a number of shuffling European players eliminated E-frag.net in the lower bracket final.

BARBARR's Orgless took down favourites FlipSid3 in the grand final

Yegor "⁠markeloff⁠" Markelov & co. of FlipSid3, widely considered favourites to win the event, had to contend with losing the upper bracket final to Orgless and had to thereby defeat Nostalgie in the consolidation final to enter into the grand final, where Orgless possessed an automatic one map advantage.

However, Bence "⁠DeadFox⁠" Böröcz and his teammates proved they were ready to repeat their upper bracket victory as all it took was one map of de_cbble, and a superior 9-1 CT-side to give the team a 16-9 victory and a $9,000 first place prize.
